Today I got a message in my email:"On Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14 from 5-8 PM, Artists Against the War will be assembling at the US military recruitment center in the middle of Times Square. Our hands will be dyed red and we will be carrying the attached poster to mourn five years of bloodshed in Iraq. Please join us and participate for awhile that evening!"
NYC Artists Against the War has been doing projects since the war started in 2003. (There is also a group in the UK.) You can go to the nyc website and see some of the projects they have done since the War has startedhttp://www.aawnyc.org/ One of the main organizers of the New York group has a son who is in Iraq.
