So, while this is less "alternative",it certainly has quite a bearing on the future of media. As some of you may know, the recent war for the next video technology has been settled, with Sony's "Blu-ray" disc beating out the "HDDVD". However, this may not be as dominating a technology as past reigning champions (DVD and VHS). Enter VUDU, an interface that goes with your entertainment combo that has access to a digital library of thousands of movies. This system, like iTunes but more catered for the family room, is completely digital - no physical medium. For the past year or so, people have been predicting that "EVERYTHING will be digital".
